21 edición del festival Rock al Parque en Bogotá

rock-al-parque_thumbMás de 70 bandas de música rock serán protagonistas de la vigesimoprimera edición de Rock al Parque en Bogotá, uno de los mayores festivales gratuitos de América Latina. En el cartel figuran bandas colombianas e internacionales como Che Sudaka, los españoles Vetusta Morla, A.N.I.M.A.L. o Café Tacvba.
El lunes 17, día grande del festival, estará protagonizado por los españoles Vetusta Morla, los colombianos Che Sudaka y especialmente, por los mexicanos Café Tacvba, uno de los grupos con más éxito en América Latina en los últimos años. En el festival hay también una programación dedicada a la música electrónica.

Skateboarding meets flamenco: Chapter 1

skate_thumbThe most important cities for flamenco are Jerez de la Frontera, Seville, and Cadiz in Andalusia, Spain. All of them are really good for skating, too (good weather, interesting buildings, etc.), so the Red Bull company decided to take advantage of this synchronicity to organize a skate tour of Spain with some skaters that understand both worlds. Finding skaters that can sing, play, or dance flamenco and also rip on a skateboard is not easy. But Red Bull managed to assemble three of them for this trip to the cradle of flamenco culture.

Flamenco-Infused Jazz in New York City

theFlame_thumb“The Flame: Flamenco Infused Jazz” is the only series of concerts in the United States showcasing the work of musicians whose artistic vision latches onto the roots of Flamenco.

The 2015 series of concerts will start on January 31st and showcase the music of three amazing artists: Rebeca Vallejo, Andreas Arnold, and the quartet InFlame, which brings together the language of Flamenco together with its most immediate influence: classical Indian music. The concerts are produced by World Music Boutique Productions in collaboration with The Cornelia St. Café and Spain Culture NY (Consulate General of Spain in New York). All concerts will take place from 6:00-7:30 PM in the lower level of Cornelia St. Cafe (29 Cornelia St, Greenwich Village, New York. 212-989-9319).
