Santillana's eLearning Solutions received the Learning Impact Silver Award

The Learning Impact Awards recognize the most powerful and influential uses of technology worldwide in support of learning.  This unique program was created in 2007 for the purpose of recognizing outstanding applications of technology (both product/service) that address the most significant challenges facing the global education segment.

The program also aims to identify repeatable implementation of “efficient IT” practices that can help institutions and educational authorities increase access, create personalized learning environments, improve student engagement and improve actionable assessment.

This award places us squarely in the company of the top leaders and innovators in the field on next-generation educational technology. We are proud to acknowledge our Director of Technology, Javier Cabrera, for spearheading this project, along with the development team from Miami, Spain, and Colombia.

Each submission was evaluated on learning impact criteria such as:
access, affordability, quality, adoption, accountability, organizational learning, interoperability, and innovation (for research and new products).

Medal winners receive a Learning Impact Digital Badge with supporting evidence of achievement from IMS Global and will be recognized in the 2016 Learning Impact Research Report that will be published in late September.
