Santillana USA has a fascinating contest that will take you on amazing cultural desafíos around the Spanish-speaking world!


With the Espanol Santillana program, we take pride in presenting your students with intriguing cultural challenges from around the Spanish-speaking world. We want to “transport” you to all of the fascinating places, events, and people that have contributed to the rich Spanish language and Hispanic cultures. We know that going to a place is an irreplaceable experience when it comes to internalizing the language, opening your mind to new cultural products and practices, and building global relationships. 

And the best part of all is that by participating, you could be entered to win a fantastic cultural adventure of your very own that's part of the Español Santillana Plus benefits package, which consists of program accreditation and student certification from the University of Salamanca and this study abroad opportunity to the University of Alcalá.

So now it’s your turn! We love teachers, we appreciate all you do, and we want to enrich YOUR life as well, with an exciting contest of cultural riddles to solve. Here’s what you do:

  • Register to participate.

  • Answer three clues correctly during each of the four week-long phases of the challenge.

  • By answering all clues correctly each week, you will be entered into the drawing to win a week-long study abroad adventure at the Universidad de Alcalá in Madrid, Spain!
