Hispanic Heritage Month Photo Contest Submission - Free Resources for Spanish Teachers
Ms. Beatriz Urrejola and her middle school students from Morningside Middle School celebrated Hispanic Heritage Month with a Chilean twist. Since they couldn't go to Chile, they brought Chile to North Charleston, SC!
On September 18th & 19th her Spanish class celebrated Chile's Independence Day by dancing the national dance, La Cueca, and playing with the Chilean traditional toy, El Emboque. They learned all about Chile while having fun!
