Professional Development

Our professional development opportunities for teachers and administrators focus on the various aspects and issues of second language pedagogy, English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL), and the teaching and learning of foreign languages, with a special focus on Spanish and Spanish for Spanish Speakers.

We will strive to ensure that education professionals who participate in our offerings will receive appropriate certification for their contact hours and learning efforts.

Many of our courses satisfy the various requirements of the No Child Left Behind (NCLB) legislation, including Title I, Part A and C/Title II, Part A/ Title III, and Title V.

We work closely with state and local educational agencies to customize our courses to their needs, and to ensure that state and local teacher inservice and certification requirements are met in a satisfactory manner.
