El Mes de la Herencia Hispana se celebra cada año desde el 15 de septiembre hasta el 15 de octubre. El presidente Lyndon B. Johnson fue el primero en establecer la observación del Mes de la Herencia Hispana en 1968 y el presidente Ronald Reagan promulgó en ley la obervación formalmente para que se celebrare cada año en estas fechas.

It’s impossible to review every piece of technology equipment, so let’s look at the biggest one – language labs.

Language labs have been used for years at the college level and now many school districts have language labs in high schools.  Most of the labs of the past were used to develop listening comprehension. Many of today’s language labs are multimedia labs and students work on developing their listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills individually, simultaneously, in pairs, or in small groups.

The use of technology has evolved tremendously over the years.  I’m sure many young teachers today have never heard of a mimeograph or ditto copier.  These machines were “the technology items” of the 70s.  For many districts, the administration could not afford to purchase/lease copy machines for teachers to use on a regular basis so teachers were relegated to using the “purple monster” to make copies.
